HENNA AFTERCARE

  • Let the paste dry naturally. As you move your hands or other parts of the body which have the design, thinner parts of the design may crumble off as it dries.

  • Keep the paste on for 2–8 hours if possible and for best results. A longer wear time gives a darker stain.

  • Keep it dry. Avoid washing, swimming, sweating heavily, or getting the design wet while the paste is on.

  • When ready, scrape or rub the dried paste off. Do not wash it off with water.

  • For best results, avoid water for at least 8–12 hours afterward, ideally up to 24 hours.

  • A little natural oil, such as coconut or canola oil, can help protect the stain from water.

What to Expect

Right after removing the paste, the design will usually be light orange or pumpkin-colored. Don’t panic, that’s normal! It will gradually oxidize and become reddish-brown to deep brown over the next 24–48 hours.

Hands and feet usually stain darkest because the skin is thicker. Arms and other areas may develop a lighter reddish-brown color.

The design typically lasts about 1–2 weeks, fading gradually as the outer layers of skin naturally exfoliate. Frequent handwashing, swimming, exfoliating, and cleaning products can make it fade faster.

Important: Natural henna stains brown/orange, never jet black. Avoid products marketed as “black henna,” which may contain irritating chemicals such as PPD.

Ingredients:

Organic Rajastani henna powder, Eucalyptus Globulus essential oil, raw sugar, lemon juice, distilled water and xantham gum.

JAGUA AFTERCARE

  • Let the gel dry completely. Avoid touching or rubbing the design 45 minutes to 1 hour while it is wet because it can smudge or transfer/stain clothing or other parts of the body.

  • Keep the Jagua on for about 5–6 hours, for best results.

  • Once the time is up, wash the gel off thoroughly with soap and lukewarm-warm (NOT HOT)water.

  • Do not sleep with the jagua gel on, it will stain and transfer other parts of the body like your face.

  • For the first 12–24 hours, avoid heavy exfoliation, swimming, and excessive rubbing.

    What to Expect

After washing the Jagua off, the design may look very faint, gray, or almost invisible at first. That is completely normal.

Over the next 12–48 hours, the stain will gradually darken into a deep blue, navy, or blue-black color.

Hands and feet often develop the darkest stains, while arms and other areas may appear slightly lighter.

Jagua typically lasts about 1–2 weeks and fades gradually as the skin naturally exfoliates. Frequent washing, swimming, scrubbing, and exfoliating can make it fade faster.

Important: Jagua should naturally stain blue-black, not sit on top of the skin like paint. Avoid picking or aggressively scrubbing the area while the stain develops.

Ingredients:

Jagua Fruit Juice, Xantham Gum, lavender essential oil
